Simulating Visual Impairment Photography Workshop

Join David Foster at MassMu for a photography workshop using visual impairment simulator glasses on Saturday, May 17 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.! The workshop will begin with a brief lecture, and then students will choose a pair of simulator glasses to being shooting with. Students can take photographs inside the Museum, or outside in the area surrounding it. The group will reconvene for attendees to share their photos and discuss the process of shooting while utilizing the simulator glasses. Attendees should bring a camera-equipped cell phone or camera that can share photos immediately.
This program is open to adults and children ages 14 and up, and is held in connection with Sight Unseen: International Photography by Blind Artists, on view in the Massillon Museum’s Main Gallery until May 18. Students are encouraged to visit the exhibition prior to the workshop.
