VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteering
The Massillon Museum offers a variety of volunteer opportunities such as: working at special events, guiding tours, preparing bulk mailings, and assisting with research and collection projects.
The Museum is supported by over 150 volunteers who contribute over 7,500 hours of their time and talents annually to the functioning of daily operations and special activities. Our museum volunteer opportunities are invaluable to the Museum’s overall success, and the volunteers are an integral part of the Museum.

Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is a great way to meet interesting people and make new friends. It is also a lot of fun! If you like interacting with people and enjoy art and history, then consider a volunteer position at the Massillon Museum. You may volunteer as little as once or twice a year or you may prefer working as often as weekly. Volunteer interests usually determine the frequency of individual work schedules. An added benefit for volunteers includes a discount in the Museum shop and on rentals.
