The Massillon Museum is exhibiting artwork by the Artists Group of Ten in their exhibition, Ten Point Perspective from August 12 through October 15, 2023, in the Fred F. Silk Community Room Gallery. A free public reception will be held on Saturday, September 16, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Lewis, Dan Lindner, Mary Mosyjowski, William Peck, Katina Pastis Radwanski, John Smolko, Frank Susi, Carol Tomasik, Jana Volkmer, Gwen Waight, Lawrence Walker, and Helen Wilson.
The Artists of Group Ten originated in 2012 as Group Ten Gallery, a co-op located in Kent, Ohio. Since losing the physical gallery space in 2020, members continue to show their artwork and search for future venues for exhibitions throughout Northeast Ohio. The concept of perspective conveys the illusion of spatial realism, how one artist visualizes the world through a point of view. In Ten Point Perspective, the Artists of Group Ten created an eclectic body of work reflecting their visions of life experiences in Northeast Ohio. This exhibition shares connections of familiar and unexpected imagery from diverse outlooks. The works are inspired by forms and elements in the material world, by the essence of interactions taking place, and by the intersection of reality and imagination. The artists are connected by accomplished craftsmanship and mastery of visual design and communication. Whether working representationally or through abstraction, the Artists of Group Ten captures various perspectives moving through time, place, and culture.
When visiting the Studio M exhibition, guests can also view A Way to Win: Paul Brown’s Innovations, the Paul Brown/Massillon Tigers Football History Timeline, the Photography Gallery, the Immel Circus, the Local History Gallery, Innovators of Massillon, First Peoples of North America, Ethiopian Expedition of 1903, and the Albert E. Hise Fine and Decorative Arts Gallery. John W. Carlson: Set the Twilight Reeling will open on September 16, 2023, and Ish Ishmael: Manifestations of the Dystopian Reverie will open on September 30, 2023. Exhibitions in the Fred F. Silk Community Room Gallery represent collaborations between MassMu and area organizations.
