In 2022, Massillon Museum selected Cleveland-based painter Maxmillian Peralta for a CAN Triennial award exhibition. His exhibition Flat Affect will be featured in Studio M from June 21, 2025 through August 3, 2025. The artist writes, "In this exhibition, instead of focusing only on one type of subject, I allude to an atmosphere of tension, dread, and fear, experienced collectively by my generation."
