Studio M: Heated

Mario Arteaga

In this exhibition, cyanotypes, steel, concrete, plywood, and silver combine to represent Mario Arteaga's sense of being heated when running away from his home in Chicago.

Arteaga earned his Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts, Jewelry Metals and Enameling in May of 2024 at Kent State University.  He holds a Bachelor of Science, in Fashion Merchandising & Accessories, also from Kent State University. He currently works as a CNC Machinist Apprentice at Kennametal in Solon, Ohio, and for the jewelry, metals, and enameling department at Kent State University.
