News Release: Massillon Museum to Offer Children’s Clay Class
The Massillon Museum will offer an eight-week beginning clay class for students in grades one through eight on Tuesday evenings, 6:00 to 7:00, beginning March 31.
Instructor Kaitlyn Gutshall will teach pottery basics and hand-building techniques.
Kaitlyn Gutshall, the Massillon Museum’s Facilities Manager, is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art. She will attend Kent State University in the fall to work toward a master’s degree concentrating in museum studies to further her ambitions in art and museums.
All materials will be included in the $80 class fee ($70 per Museum member). Massillon Museum classes are open to the public. Pre-registration is required for this class by March 26. Students may register by phone, by mail, or in person using cash (exact change), checks, or credit cards.
