Massillon Museum Seeks Vendors for Relics & Refabs

The Massillon Museum is seeking vendors for its Antiques Road Show-style Relics and Refabs: MassMu Appraisal Fair and Market event on Saturday, June 25.  A cadre of highly respected appraisers, booths full of antiques and repurposed objects, pertinent panel discussions, live music, food and beverages, demonstrations, and children’s activities will stretch from the Massillon Museum to St. George Cultural Center in downtown Massillon.

Vendors may apply for 10-foot by 10-foot booth spaces, which will be available inside the Museum and the Cultural Center.  The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Space is limited. The booth fee is $50 per space.

Admission to the event will be $5.  Verbal appraisals will be $5 each (limit three per guest). Musicians and activities will be stationed between the sites to encourage pedestrian enjoyment of downtown Massillon on the first Saturday of summer.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Massillon Museum’s Capital Campaign to expand its facility.  Relics and Refabs is sponsored by Freshmark; the live music is provided by an ArtsinStark grant.

Additional activities in Massillon on June 25 will include the Farmers Market, Edna and Ruth’s Lawn and Garden Sale at the Massillon Woman’s Club, and The Underground Railroad Experience at Spring Hill Historic Home.

The Massillon Museum is located at 121 Lincoln Way East (at the corner of First Street). St. George Cultural Center is located at 364 First Street Southeast. Free parking is available in the St. George Cultural Center and city lots and on adjacent streets.
