News Release:  MassMu Studio M to Host Staff Exhibition 

The Massillon Museum’s Studio M exhibition, Artwork by the Massillon Museum Staff, will open Saturday, January 24, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Fred F. Silk Community Room.

Mandy Altimus Pond, Hilary Brentin, Alexandra Nicholis Coon, Chris Craft, Libby Doss, Kaitlyn Gutshall, Heather Haden, Scot Phillips, Jessica Shoemaker, Alex Strader, Emily Vigil, Margy Vogt, and Kristi Wall will exhibit photography, painting, textiles, drawings, mixed media, and ceramics. 

Also during the evening of January 24, the Ninth Annual Ohio Collage Society Exhibition will open. An exhibition of Published and Unpublished Illustrations by Sean Qualls, a Brooklyn-based children’s book illustrator, artist, and author, will open in a second-floor gallery. The Immel Circus; the century-old Jewel automobile; It’s Been Awhile; Paul Brown: The Professional Years; andMassillon and the War of the Rebellion: Women and the War can also be seen in second-floor galleries. Orange and Black Cinema: Film Noir and Massillon, Ohio will be displayed in the lower level lobby.

The Studio M staff exhibition can be seen through Sunday, March 15, during regular Museum hours—Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A visit to the Massillon Museum is always free.
