Congratulations to 2023 Art Educator of the Year Tam Grandjean!

 

Congratulations to Tam Grandjean, Art Teacher at Hoover High School in North Canton City Schools, who is the 2023 Art Educator of the Year! Congratulations also to Melanie Mesmer, Music Teacher at Northwood Elementary in North Canton City Schools, who has been named the 2023 Music Educator of the Year. We are honored to partner with the Canton Museum of Art and Canton Symphony Orchestra to present the Art and Music Educator of the Year Awards and to recognize this year's finalists and all Arts Educators for their dedication and service to their communities. 

Be sure to visit the Art Educator of the Year Award Finalists' Exhibition on view during regular Museum hours at MassMu and the Canton Museum of Art from March 21 through April 8, 2023!

 

2023 Arts Educator of the Year Award Finalists

The Massillon Museum and Canton Museum of Art are pleased to announce the finalists for the 2023 Art and Music Educator of the Year Awards! We are honored to recognize these talented professionals. The winner of each award will be announced during intermission at the Canton Symphony Orchestra's March 5th concert, Magico.

These awards recognize public, private, and parochial Art and Music Educators in the region served by the Stark County Educational Service Center who have positively impacted their students and communities, and who have shown great dedication to the field of Art and Music Education. We present the awards in partnership with the Canton Museum of Art and Canton Symphony Orchestra. The winner of each award will receive a $500 check.
