Studio M is a new opportunity for members of the Massillon Museum
to exhibit their artwork in the Fred F. Silk Community Room. Juried solo
shows will be installed for 5 weeks and each will be celebrated by an
artist’s reception on the Friday evening of its opening.
Both established and emerging visual artists can display and offer for
sale their creations. Studio M may be a first look at a young artist’s
vision or a welcome reunion with a favorite regional talent. It will be
an additional reason to enjoy the Massillon Museum, to be intrigued and
inspired by art.
Studio M was created with the intention of strengthening the ties between
the Massillon Museum and the community. The contributions of our members
enable us to provide quality programming that enriches the cultural, historical,
and artistic integrity we seek to maintain. By showcasing the artistic
talents of local, regional, and national artists, Studio M will foster
a collaborative relationship between the Massillon Museum and the community
that emphasizes the value we place on the support of our members.
