ENTRY FORMS
Entry forms may be picked up at the Museum during regular hours or may be downloaded as a PDF Entry Form or as a JPG Entry Form.

Submission deadline is October 5, 2008.
Each artist must complete one entry form and present it when delivering or mailing work for consideration. Labels and entry forms may be photocopied. Artists may submit, on a separate sheet, a one-paragraph explanation of their work, if necessary, to ensure the jurors' understanding of the media or process.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to present and former Stark County residents and to those currently working in Stark County. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. All media will be considered.

NEW ENTRY PROCEDURE
Due to the large number of entries received last year, only digital and slide entries will be accepted.

Each artist may submit three pieces of work which have been completed in the past two years. Each digital file must be 300 DPI in jpeg or tiff format. The title of each file or slide must correspond with the title on the accompanying entry form. The top of each slide should be clearly marked. Entries must be delivered or mailed to the Museum. A self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage must be included if the disk is to be returned. Email entries will not be considered.

ACCEPTED WORK
Work must be completely ready to hang or display. Works on paper must be framed under glass or plexiglass, ready to hang with wire secured to the back of the frame (no sawteeth). Frames must be sturdy and in good condition. Clip and plastic box frames are not acceptable. Each entry must be identified with a label, with the first four lines completely filled out, from this brochure securely attached to the upper left corner of the back.

FEES
Each artist may submit up to three works. A non-refundable $5-per-entry fee per work must accompany entries. Work may be for sale; the Museum will take a 30% commission.

DELIVERY
Artists are responsible for delivery of accepted work during regular Museum hours between December 2 and 7, 2008 Work must be picked up following the show by Sunday, February 22, 2009.

The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday: 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

STARK COUNTY ARTISTS SCHEDULE:

Exhibition: December 13, 2008 through February 8, 2009

Saturday, December 13, 2008: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Awards announced: 8:00 p.m.
Free and open to the public. No reservations required.
