Stark County Artists Exhibition

We had an overwhelming response to the call for entries. We had 320 pieces submitted by 126 artists. Jurors Terri Potenzini, Executive Director, Ohio Museums Association and Charles Basham, Artist, chose 85 pieces for the show. Thank you all for your entries.
Unaccepted artwork may be picked up starting Tuesday, December 4th. Any artwork not picked up by January 31st becomes property of the Massillon Museum.

RULES & REGULATIONS:
ELIGIBILITY
Open to present and former Stark County residents and to those
currently working in Stark County. Entrants must be at least 18
years of age. All media will be considered.

ENTRIES
Each artist may submit three pieces of work which have been
completed in the past two years. Work must be completely ready
to hang or display. Works on paper must be framed under glass or
plexiglas, ready to hang with wire secured to the back of the frame
(no sawteeth). Frames must be sturdy and in good condition. Clip
and plastic box frames are not acceptable. Each entry must be
identified with a label from this brochure securely attached to
the upper left corner of the back.
LABELS
Each artist must complete one entry form and present it when
delivering work for consideration. A label, with the first four lines
completely filled out, must be attached to the back of each piece of
artwork. Unlabeled work will not be considered. Labels and entry
forms may be photocopied.
FEES
A non-refundable $10-per-artist entry fee must accompany
entries. Work may be for sale; the Museum will take a 30%
commission.
DELIVERY
Artists are responsible for delivery during regular Museum
hours between November 1 and November 18. Work
must be picked up by Saturday, February 23, 2007.
The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday: 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
